General Instructions:

This package contains the forms necessary to show intent to qualify as a Texas CPA by passing the Uniform CPA Examination. Keep a copy of the completed forms and documents for your records. When this application is approved, you will be instructed on the next steps to take to apply for the CPA examination. Required Forms and Documents:

If you still have questions after reviewing the forms on-line, contact the Qualifications Division at the Board.

You previously submitted an ‘Application of Intent’ to TSBPA (prior to September 1, 2023);
Your previously submitted ‘Application of Intent’ is ‘Active’ in our system and not expired; and
You elected to cancel the previously submitted ‘Application of Intent’ and reapply under the Public Accountancy Act of 2023 using the Aug 2023 revised ‘Application of Intent’ form to meet the education requirements for examination and licensure.

Submit your completed Aug 2023 revised ‘Application of Intent’ form by attaching it to an email to the 2023AOI@tsbpa.texas.gov

your previously submitted ‘Application of Intent’ expired
